Do I Need a Holistic Health Coach?

The body is a complex piece of “equipment”. We know from research and experience that everything in the body is in constant communication with itself. The brain talks to the gut, the spine talks with the muscles, the organs talk to the muscles, and the list goes on. One of the ways we recommend our clients take their health to the next level is through the new 6-week Holistic Health Coaching program we are offering. This coaching program address two key areas: Nutrition and Lifestyle.

These two areas are so important because it encompasses everything else you are doing when you’re not coming into the practice – eating, sleeping, drinking, and dealing the stress of daily life. These areas of our life play a key role in our health. Take eating for example… If the average person is eating 3 meals a day, that means they are having 21 meals a week, not including snacks. Let’s face it, food plays a big role in our lives, which in turn has a BIG impact on the way we feel and operate during the day.

However, so many people don’t know where to start. With so much information floating around about diets and nutrition these days, it can make our heads spin. People ask me all the time… Should I do the Keto diet? Should I do Intermittent Fasting? How about the Paleo Diet? What do you think of Whole 30? Should I go Vegan or Vegetarian? The answer is we have to find what works for YOU. That’s why we decided to start the Holistic Health Coaching program for our clients. We want you empower you with the knowledge you need to feel your best, which starts with your nutrition and lifestyle.

We have already started running the program, with great success. Just in the first week people are experiencing weight loss, better energy, better sleep, and better mental clarity. What you can expect is to find out what your Metabolic Type (MT) is, get a tailored food list for your MT, a meal plan to kickstart your progress, and how to “feel” your reaction from food, all while having weekly coaching with our Holistic Health Coach, Jim Burdumy. That is where you will be held accountable for your progress, have the opportunity to go over topics specific to your needs and situation, as well as have your questions answered. With Spring right around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to start thinking about how you can take your health and wellness to the next level.
